So, last night was Wednesday which means Caleb and I went to burger night at Copper Cellar with our friends. We went with Andy, Jennifer, Duncan, and Kristian. Of course I got a salad as did Kristian... which brings me to my topic of the day, My Fitness Pal.
If you read yesterday, you know that it told me in order for me to maintain my current weight I would have to eat only a mere 1,410 calories... Now, by dinner I had already had 1,516 calories... so I just threw that number out the window with my salad and bread and such... Also, once I got back home I decided I wanted two Trefoils (girl scout cookies) bringing my final total to a whopping 2,035 calories... Now if you know me, you know that I'm no heifer... So I've decided that trying to stay under 1,410 calories is a complete waste... I've been eating 5 meals a day since I can remember and it has not caused me to gain a pound and a half a week (how much this foney told me I'd gain if I continued with my current diet)... So try this new thing at your own risk. Maybe in 5 weeks I'll posting about the successes of Stephanie and Kristian (they are both using it to the T).
Also, another topic that I'm quite passionate about as of lately, COUPONS! I absolutely love them. This one time a few weeks ago I was able to save $20 on $90 of groceries! WAHOO!!! That was literally my reaction in front of the clerk. So what do I do you may ask? Now, I am no expert, and granted I usually only save about $5-$15 per week, but hey, it's better than nothing! I just clip coupons to my kroger card as well as search blogs such as coupons.com and couponsuzy.com. However, the good news just keeps coming... Caleb clipped some coupons yesterday! It was amazing! I thought the world was ending or some other catastrophic event, but no he just saw them and clipped! I have never been prouder, except perhaps this moment, when he proposed, but we will just stick with that.
As for me, I'm off to clip more coupons, save the world, and plan next week's meals, wish me luck!
